On race realations and intermingling
In case you haven't noticed, I've been working on the history of the various nations of Darvasi. I've been trying to put together a rough time line of the precursor nations that led to the formations of the current one's.
This lead me to wonder about the early interactions of the races. I figure that the humans lived in harmony with the gods before the Divine Schism, celebrated each time a new god arrived (which would probably become patron holidays). The humans probably lived in small communities, not really needing to form cities since large economic and agricultural centers wouldn't be necessary. The gods would provide for the humans and look after them.
Then the Sator went and created the new races. How this was done exactly hasn't really…
New Skin
Wikia has pushed out a new skin and the old one will not be available after November 3rd. They included a tool called the Theme Designer that kinda got things looking right, but did nothing for the many templates. I've copied (the new style sheet) and that mostly restored the templates, but not completely.
The former method of testing css changes in a user page so only the specific user sees the changes no longer works. Because of this, the changes have to be done live and any problems created will be visible to everyone.
I have set up a project to correct any issues that have arrived from the new skin. If you see any issues that need to be fixed, please leave a comment on the project talk page.

FNORD Campaign
The campaign has been going pretty good so far. Despite complications from a key player not being there, the first session went rather well. It encompassed three days of game play and introduced the character to each other. The story line had to be improvised slightly, but I'm satisfied with where that left us.
The latest session, saw the characters embark on a naval voyage, and we got to test out newly written naval combat rules. The combat went rather well, and the rules worked out too. There will probably be revisions to naval combat now that we've seen it in action.
The next session will pick up with the boarding of a pirate schooner and will hopefully lead to the characters arriving at their intended destination.

New Campaign Starting
A new campaign will be getting underway soon. It will start April 10th at 1:00pm CDT and will happen on Saturday's at 1:00pm CDT. The character creation guidelines are here and I need characters e-mailed to me by April 4th. The campaign page is here and will probably be moved once I decide on a name for the campaign.
