No one knows what happens to the souls of the dead, not even the gods. Occasionally, a dead person's soul is risen to the heavens to sit by it's god's side in glory. Every other soul drifts off beyond the sight of even the gods into the Æther Night (or Aether Night). Unfortunately, beasts from Nex that manage to reach into the realm of Etan sometime go hunting for souls and manage to pluck some from their journey into the afterlife.
