After spending years attempting to contact his slaughtered parents, they taught him that the choices he makes in life will influence his experiences in the afterlife and that above all else he must respect free will and the natural order of life and death. After further developing his techniques, they were stolen and eventually spread throughout Darvasi. Barnabas spent centuries regenerating himself and hunting down it bastardized legacy.
